Why This Blog?

I am often asked “what do you do about dinner”, meaning what do you make, how do you plan, how do you find time, etc.  I have been asked to send people menus and recipes from time to time and decided to have some place people could go for ideas.

People stress out over dinner, not just what to make but the whole affair.  I hope to help ease this process for you through this blog.  I post weekly menus and recipes with links or the recipe and provide feedback on how the recipes worked as I try new recipes and tried and trues ones.  I also help you find ways to rebuild (or build) that important hour of connection called dinnertime. Whether it is with your family or hanging with your friends, the table is a wonderful place of relationship and reconnecting.

It can be time consuming and overwhelming to search the internet, cookbooks, magazines etc. for ideas. I am here to do the work for you, researching and testing recipes providing you with links to simplify the process as well as provide you with some original recipes.  I wish you the best in your endeavors to bring back dinner!  So, go ahead picture Julia Child as you hear me say “Bon Appetit!”

Please feel free to provide feedback.  We will learn from each other.
